Medically Managed Detox Program
Waterfront Recovery Services is the first detox program certified by the State of California Department of Health Care Services to provide medically assisted treatment for drug and alcohol withdrawal.
Includes withdrawal treatment for alcohol, opiates, methamphetamine, benzodiazepine and combinations of substances. We use the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria and dimensions of care to develop an individualized treatment plan. Our evidence based programs include the Matrix System.
Residential Treatment Program
We provide residential treatment for men and women to help understand addiction, learn healthy coping skills and to prepare them for return to the community.

Celebrating 8 Years of Hope and Healing
November 1st marks eight years since Waterfront Recovery Services first opened its doors to serve our community. In what we’ve called our Year of Change, we have so much to look back on with gratitude and pride.
Over the years, more than 3,000 people have come through our doors to receive care and a chance to rebuild their lives. Our ongoing transitional support facilitates reconnection with their families and communities in their journey toward lasting recovery and growth.
Many of those who once sought healing at Waterfront have returned to join our staff, using their experiences to help others move forward into healthy, productive lives. They know firsthand the power of the love and support that define Waterfront. And some of our staff have carried that same spirit into the broader community, continuing to make a difference far beyond our walls. The ripple effect of that dedication is something we are deeply proud of.
Teamwork and mutual support are at the heart of everything we do. We train and cross-train to ensure we can provide the best possible care—and this year, the success of that approach has been clear. Several staff members have stepped into new roles, strengthening our team and reaffirming our commitment to growth, resilience, and compassion.
Together, we celebrate eight years of changing lives—and we look forward to many more years of healing, hope, and community.
